IDEA-net Community of Practice
This work package aims to create social learning spaces for IDEA practitioners by implementing a community of practice using social media systems and SPLOT. The community of practice will be animated and built around experience exchanges through webinars, podcasts, multimedia, social media, and online events, and resources exchanges. The main results of this work package include educating, supporting, cultivating, encouraging, and integrating members to use their new knowledge for real change in their own work.
The ultimate goal is to deepen understanding across contexts in which universities’ D&I offices work and to rise to meet the profound societal changes that impact students’ realities. By engaging with other people across difference and around areas of shared interest and struggle, the community of practice will lead to deeper understanding and better solutions to challenges faced by IDEA practitioners.
