The Guideline toolkit for setting up IDEA

In this Work Package we will develop a Guideline Toolkit for establishing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Offices in higher education institutions.

The objectives are to provide strategic and operational guidelines that clarify the scope and flexibility of office duties and mandates, and to offer strategies for developing environments that interpret diversity and widening participation as enriching. The Guideline Toolkit will assist leaders in selecting the IDEA structure or model that could work best for their campus by considering various aspects of the campus context.

The main results will be guidelines for achieving broadly inclusive and collaborative leadership approaches that can lead to equitable outcomes in higher education.
