Participants and Organisers of the Capacity Building Workshop at the University of Ljubljana, September 2024

This work package aims to create a long-term strategic plan for building and maintaining equitable relationships across the university to increase knowledge, awareness, and skills regarding diversity and inclusion concepts and practices. The specific objectives include promoting inclusive excellence, developing strong practices of partnership between students, staff, and faculty, and equipping faculty and staff with the knowledge and skills conducive to fostering an inclusive campus climate.

The creation of an online program for sharing and repurposing resources supporting IDEA work is being developed while piloting in-person workshops to ensure applicability to diverse national, regional, and institutional contexts. The ultimate goal is to create a space for faculty and staff to explore issues on a deeper level and build relationships needed to drive institutional change.
