Launching the IDEA-net Guideline Toolkit on setting up an IDEA Office. (June 2024)
The webinar collected feedback on 9 proposed steps for IDEA focused practioners and staff in higher education to advance inclusion and access in their institution. We asked:
- Is the foundational concept of an IDEA office universally understood?
- Are the objectives of the guideline clear?
- Which part of the guidelines could you currently use?
- What’s missing?

- Which specific IDEA activity carried out by your university would you like to scale up, and how would you engage either community, institutional or policy actors locally or abroad?
- What, in your respective regions, is driving IDEA practices in your university to change?
- Where do university policies for IDEA need to go from here, especially in the face of a polarised society?
