Capacity building for IDEA support services
The project has developed an internationally piloted capacity building tool (CBT) for faculty, administrative staff and students to explore IDEA issues faced on a day-to-day level, while envisioning the next steps for supporting IDEA within Higher Education Institutions.
Consisting of framework of five modules, the online tool was modelled from in-person discussion-focused workshops at three Western Balkan universities. Co-led with the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, these workshops and the online capacity building framework have been designed for applicability in diverse national, regional, and institutional contexts. The ultimate goal is to become equipped with knowledge and skills conducive to fostering an inclusive campus climate, as well as to create a long-term strategic plan for implementing mutually beneficial IDEA concepts and practices.
